Discovery & Agreement
First, we'll schedule a free consultation to see if we're a good fit. We’ll hop on a call or meet over coffee if you’re local so you can tell me about your project and we can get to know each other!
I’ll put together a proposal with goals, deliverables, cost, and timelines for your review. Once you give the thumbs up, I’ll send over the contract.

Kickoff & Strategy
After the contract is signed and the deposit is in, we’ll schedule a kickoff meeting to review your goals and answer any questions before we dive in.
To design something that actually works for your users and isn't just a pretty face, I’ll research your industry, your competitors, and your audience. This might include interviewing customers, reviewing analytics, or auditing your current site.

Design & Development
With research in hand, I’ll map out the structure with wireframes, user flows, and site architecture, so we lock in how everything works before making it pretty.
Once the foundation’s solid, I’ll design the look and feel and share the first draft with you. I’ll walk you through the “why” behind the layout, color choices, and user experience decisions.
With the design approved, I’ll roll up my sleeves and build your site. I’ll turn the static designs into a fully functional, responsive website.

Revisions & Launch
Once your site’s built, you’ll have two rounds of revisions to fine-tune anything before we lock in the final version.
I’ll handle the final testing and polish, then launch your site to the world!
After launch, I’ll provide 2 weeks of follow-up support. I’ll keep an eye on things to make sure everything is running smoothly and performing the way it should.

I got my B.A. in Digital Narrative and Interactive Design in 2022, and have been in the UX field since. Unlike a lot of web designers, I don't just focus on making things look nice, I have training in understanding how people think, navigate, and make decisions online. Every site I build is deeply grounded in user experience principles.

What does Cow Harbor Web Designs mean?
I grew up in a small beach town in New York called Northport. Hundreds of years ago, the first settlers from England used the land, well-suited for farming, to graze their cows on the pastures around the harbor. It quickly became known as Great Cow Harbor.
In modern day, the harbor that was heavily used commercially, has transitioned into a beautiful and serene boat launch surrounded by greenery and local storefronts.
I spent my summers downtown as a kid, eating pizza by the slice and getting homemade ice cream with friends. I have countless memories in those parks which shaped who I am and the creative lens that I work through today. Combined with my absolute adoration of cows, I knew Cow Harbor Web Designs would be the perfect name for my business.
